These new acronyms for iphones, etc., make me feel old. I am always asking Kristen what they mean. The other day Kristen explained to me what ISO means....In Search Of....hmmmm I could put that to use!
ISO: A view of the Southern Cross from a sailboat and play the song by Crosby, Stills and Nash that has haunted me for years...when it comes on my ipod I hit repeat about 10x
ISO: A abandon cabin in the woods that is clean and safe and has a fireplace so I can listen to nothing but snow falling and a warm fire inside. perfect.quiet.peace.
ISO: World Peace....and I would settle for less conflict. I am so sick of hearing of all the unrest and hate in the world.....enough already!
ISO: The end of the landscaping project....progress is made every week but I always expect more to be done.....we will get there I just know it!
NISO: I was not in search of a new card holder, however this week I stopped into a darling shop in San Diego, Maison de Provence and it was just like being back in France...

I could not resist this card holder for postcards or pictures or any paper collection....
The little cards fit in between these wrapped circles....
The stand makes me drool....the patina is amazing.....
So being in-between holidays to put my vintage holiday card collection on I thought I would deck it out in some vintage sea shells and postcard....
And my trusty wire and drill....drilled small holes in the sea shells and wired them up....
Then wired them to the circular frame of the stand....
I finished the shells and then went back and added some ribbon to dress it up a bit....
And put it by the entry way....I kept it a bit airy too so you can see the beauty of the stand..
ISO: The boys are getting the ISO thing too....they are in search of baseball cards and trading...so fun to see them into this pastime.
ISO x infinity: Opening night concert tickets tonight for the kick off of Tom Petty's 2014 tour!
I may be old for acronyms, but never to old to see classic Rock....or as Kristen put it....
Tom Petty? Is he still alive????? This from the girl that asked me if Ringo Starr was a Beatle!....too bad she missed the music gene that The Addie got....he is a connoisseur and has been to about as many concerts as I have....he is flying in soon to LA to catch Paul McCartney at Dodger Stadium....Kristen - Paul McCartney was a Beatle too....there are some things I can teach you!
