It's official....school is back in session for these boys.....
I am feeling sorry for myself....no more weekday sleep overs; carefree days to create and paint....
No more assistants to help with the landscaping projects....
Just little old me and some maps that needed a project to fill up the school hours. Found this W at Michaels for 70 percent off -Brody's teachers name starts with a W so he thought I should make it for his teacher - see, once school starts, it's all about the teacher ;)
I cut out a map around three of the cities that Steve and I have spent most of our married life in....Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Diego...I had to angle it to get these cities in!
Then I wrapped it and sealed it with modge podge.....
Then I put a final coat of Modge Podge on it to seal it....
And it turned out really fun....I will hang it by out travel wall......
With the Eastern side of the Map I decided to make a travel diary for a road trip we want to take....I traced the route for a road trip we are planning.....
Then I cross stitched it to make the route show up better....
Sealed it with Modge Podge and it is ready to be filled in with travel memories!
But no one is cutting in on our after school fun!
Meet you at the playground as soon as the bell rings!!!
