Let's just say for now that I have been forced into a new chapter of my life that I am sure will bring strength, enlightenment and growth....it is not my health or any family concern, however it is something that has been put upon me by no choice of my own to deal with.....more to follow.....promise!!
We got Boo'd this week....so fun....Wine too....those goblins know what we like!
Beautiful fall tulips from my hubby.....I love to let them flop over and go wild!
Brody spent the day with me and we watched Ice Age Dinosaur for the zillionth time....here he is reenacting the scene where Rudy comes after Manny....if you look in the background Rudy is on the screen
He and Dylan spent the night and Brody set up all his fireman and had a show of force...good thing for me, it is Fire Season in So. Cal and we have Santa Ana Winds....
Dylan set up an air station in Rocky's bed.....enemy territory!
I picked out my fall colors wardrobe....the shoes are the inspiration and since they have a print I need to go with color blocking colors....love the greens, amber orange, khaki with deep browns....now if it would only cool off so I could wear these!
Brian and Kristen had their annual Halloween Party so the boys and I and our little neighbor 'grandson' did a special project for the party....Tombstones!
Brody did a scary spider and Dylan drew a hand reaching from the grave....they do lots of art projects with their mommy so they had it down....
and then a little lunch picnic while the tombstones dried....
I made fun food....first these grape heads went on skewers of grapes....(missed getting a picture of the finished product)
and I drew pumpkin faces on clementines.....I also made 'bandaids' from graham crackers, philly cream cheese and a dab of strawberry jam....missed getting that picture too! Dang!
I made a Wilma Costume for me and Steve was Fred...yabba dabba do! No comments about me being a BoneHead!
There was lots of fun food there....these ghosts...oh, and my bandaids are to the left....
Kristen made coffin cakes with body parts reaching out....
She also made used QTips.....marshmallows dipped in caramel....euuuuuuu...and had lots of fun stations set up for the little monsters....
and...speaking of change....we are thinking of this backsplash....lovin it!
So off I go to embrace the week and the change.....wish me luck.
