Revealing this year's Christmas Eve Theme: The Beautiful Christmas Tree.....yes, every year we have a theme and I set the table and make hats for us to wear to focus on a special part of Christmas....don't laugh - this is a BIG DEAL in our family......I have to say Adam and Shannon and Kristen are the biggest fans and always try to get the goods from me, but MaMa don't spill....here we are in our finery for the season....
and 2 of the cutest hat models ever.....
Our Christmas Eve craft this year was to make ornaments for all the family......these boys love projects and they excelled at this one.....
....and after a great dinner and gifts everyone left to spend Christmas Day with the other side of the family.....so Steve and I got our Sleigh (Mustang) out for our annual trip to the beach on Christmas Day....28th year in a row....and this year the weather was perfection....74 degrees, sunny and calm....we had the beach to ourselves for most of the day.....
This is our regular spot....we take snacks and stuff to read and of course the dog.....

We sit here for hours and just relax and enjoy......
Rocky loves it just as much as we do......So after that calm and relaxing end to the Christmas rush.....my favorite season starts: Decrapitation Season....I am crazy to organize, simplify, purge and renew.....even a letter from the IRS on Christmas Eve (can you believe it) does not deter me from the D Season....first up, the mess I kept my earrings in and this to die for earring holder from the Container Store....they really get my business in D Season
Voila~ and eager to move on to next project....ahhh...feels so good!
