This week....I am humbly amazed.....
Amazed that my 85 year old mom still sends me love and care goodie packages filled with homemade goodies and yes Idaho potatoes that still have the dirt on them....the BEST kind!
I am amazed at how much happiness and joy this little guy has brought us and how he loves to pose for his annual Valentine photo session....
I am amazed at how this boy loves to create and wanted to paint an old skateboard plank with a beach scene.....
He is patient and enjoys the moment - never rushing - and has a great attention to detail.....
I am amazed at how much Brody loves to play in dishwater....it will keep him busy for hours....
He is also blessed with an incredible imagination and will be some kind of engineer - he loves to know how things work and loves to put covers on things....like this batch of dishwater soup he made me!
I was amazed that Dylan noticed I did not have anything on my fridge for Valentines Day
So he made me a heart shaped picture with flowers in the corners - so sweet....
I am amazed at just how many treasurers I can drag home...with good intentions of course!
And I was amazed that Steve and his brother had a pretty successful Yard Sale all on their own!
I was amazed in said yard sale, that my sister in law had a matching piece to a piece I brought home from my days at the studio. I did not keep much from my studio days, however, the piece on the left was from one of the sets I worked on and I loved it. It is marked and labeled and numbered as all prop pieces are and her piece is hollow and like a mold. I am going to paint both and do some kind of yard feature with them....
I am amazed that my simple Valentine glass scatters....
....created such an after dinner playground for Brian and the boys.....
I was amazed (and pleased) to find this left for me by Dylan when they went home....
I will forever be amazed by the relationship of brothers....so close and such good friends and buddies...then 10 minutes before bed it turns into a full on wrestle match....how does that happen!
Another special and Amazing time was with our friends the Bigelows (not their real names)....they invited us for a fantastic evening in their beautiful home. We love these guys and have had many fun times over the years...they are creative and active and fun and have really set the bar high on dinner invites....gonna have to up our game for our turn to host next!
Here Ms. Bigelow makes her perfect Cosmo.......she had a secret ingredient so secret she forgot to put it in but then recovered quickly!
This is Mr. Bigelow.....cook extraordinaire! He is prepping this yummy Veal Parmesan!
Yummy side dish of penne pasta and a delish salad.....
Of course The Bigelow's have the perfect tablescape for a romantic Valentines dinner!
