My very first car was a 1968 Camaro V8 SS 396....I saved and saved and bought it on November 13, 1972.....it was a lot of car for me and I loved it....wish I could have kept it forever, but it was not meant to be....but great memories for sure.....as much as I loved that car, I really wanted a 1965 Red Mustang...but we were a CHEVY family and that would just not fly!Fast forward (and it does seem that way!) to July 13, 2011....I did finally get my 65 Mustang and it is a beauty! Worth the 39 year wait for a 47 year old car!
I think my mom and dad are over the Chevy thing....as they have since driven Cadillacs and Lincolns and I wish I could take my mom and dad for a ride....however, now I have Grandsons and they were happy participants sitting in for mom and dad....
Brody takes the wheel (above)....Steve and I joke that Dylan and Brody will drive to their prom in this car....until then we plan on really enjoying the ride!
