We have been blessed to have many nice family vacations and some of our favorites have been in DC. We decided for the boys fall break, Adam, Kristen and Brian's vacations to head to DC and see DC through the boys eyes.....the only down side was Shannon could not get off work....boo hoo.....we missed you Shannie girl!
I have to honestly say the boys were troopers - planes, trains, automobiles, walking, time changes, lectures.....very well behaved and soaked it all in like little sponges....and I also have to honestly say that DC in 1992 was easier on Gramps and me than 2015....many days - we averaged walking 7.5 miles a day - Gramps and I would retreat to our hotel!
1992--------------------------------------------------2015
The Addie was an incredible tour guide, masterminded the metro and scheduled all the tours and visits and was able to get us into the most amazing places....the White House, Bureau of Engraving and the very best - Oral arguments at the Supreme Court.....it is and always will be an amazing place. I promise not to bombard you with every detail and the over 300 pictures I took so just a few that feature our boys learning about this great country and all that goes on involved.

The Peoples House aka The White House.....I have to say Dylan did not want to go to Obama's house - he holds a grudge when Obama shut down the air show a couple of years ago..... so we had to explain it's the peoples house - he is just the current resident
