Summer.....so far.....

Summer....so far....lots of wonderful beach days.....

 late night fire pits with lots of neighbors and friends (early morning messes to clean up!)

 Making fishing poles and fishing.....

 Hours and hours at the pond....

 trying and trying and trying to learn to blow a bubble with bubble gum....

 And succeeding!

 Movies and reenactments....Kelly's hero's, Planes Fire and Rescue, Alaska Bush People, Legend of the Superstitions, Mountain Men

 Tending to the garden....

 And reaping the harvest....peppers, peas, lettuce, squash...tomato's coming on!

 Bingo tournaments.....who has the hot card?

 Dylan loves to call the numbers....

 Wonderful visits from The Addie....he gets into the act....

 Late night talks (just the 'original four')....yes it is 2:30 a.m. on the clock

 Trip planning, cooking and snacking......

 Yard sales galore......

 Summer of 2015 so far.....



Lately......

Lately.....we have taken some wonderful road trips!!!!  To Jackson Hole....

 Evanston, Wyoming....

 Seen beautiful blue skies on the road....

 Found bear claw marks on a hike...

 Visited a favorite landmark that I had as a child....

 Played some awesome card games with the Aunties.....

 And watched Auntie M play the player piano.....took a turn also!

 Rode horses through Wyoming and Idaho - wild, wonderful....

 scenic, scary and thrilling.....

 Picked strawberries....

 Made Strawberry Jam!

 Tried Oysters Rockefeller for the very first time (Am a fan!)

 Thrift shopped in small towns and in great old buildings....

 Been eating lots from the garden!

 In the mood to sort, purge, organize.....

 In my sorthing found some treasures from The Addie - all ready for him when he comes Wednesday!

 Took a whole load of stuff to the consignment shop.....only came home with 1 thing....

And I love love love it....

 Decorated for Flag Day and 4th of July.....

 We love 4th of July....counting the days!

 Taught an old dog new tricks.....

 The new couch was too high for his stairs, got a ramp and now he's a pro....

My list is still a mile long and I am still chipping away....finding the balance between work and fun....not easy but not giving up!
